On the peninsula Drapanos just near Gavalohori this historical place with the Venetian Wells. Here are as well very big trees spending shadow in summertime and some benches are available.
The Venetian Wells were built in the 11. Century A.C. and here is the cache area with very old plane trees in rocky surroundings. We think for children a nice playground and they will have fun, too. Nearby there is the church Agios Georgios with a cemetery. On the other side of the road you can find an old bridge crossing the riverbed. So, if you have time, stroll around this interesting place.
